Land, Space, Building and other Amenities : |
In a spawling open land of 10,500 sq.meters on the outskirt of Thara, the campus of the College is located. Surrounded by rich crop-yielding farms on all sides and enclosed by green trees, the Institutes’ building will be architecturally constructed according to the space and accommodation requirement of an ideal and modern education centre. But, provisionally the 2nd Floor of the High School building has been hired on lease for three years for accommodating the programme of the P.T.C. College. |
Instructional Facilities: |
As per the revised norms and standards set up by N.C.T.E., provision has been made for adequate number of class-rooms, halls, laboratory for conducting instructional activities for approved intake of trainees, office rooms for the Principal and teaching staff, administration block, store-room, Computer-room, Work shop, etc.
A large room has been provided for a library-cum-reading room with two –sided glass-panelled cup-boards to store more than 1500 books, audio and video cassettes, C.D. Roms and Sofware relevant to the elementary stage.
There are three playgrounds of varying areas provided for various physical training activities, games and sports.
There is a multipurpose educational laboratory with psychology and science sections and a workshop attached to it.
A special provision has been made for an Educational Technology laboratory with hardware and software required for imparting IT education. More than 80 percent of the construction work of the entire building is likely to be completed latest by May-June,2006. |

The Institution has thoughtfully made adequate provisions for the following in order to make learning-teaching processes more effective, interesting and relevant.

Multipurpose Educational Laboratory with two sections (i)
Science and (ii) Psychology
The Science Section will have almost all apparatus and materials to demonstrate all the experiments indicated in the syllabus of Primary Classes I to VII. While the Psychology Section with apparatus required for conducting the tests such as : Sensory motor, Intelligence (Performance, verbal and non-verbal, Aptitude, Personality and Interest inventory including Projective test.

Multipurpose Education Laboratorie’s EducationalTechnology Section has been equipped with one TV set, one Audio-cassette recorder, one Slide-cum-film strip projector, 20 blank audio and video cassettes, Drawing materials and papers for preparing charts, posters, etc., one CD player and one/two cordless microphones.

Mini-workshop attachedto the multipurpose laboratory. The Workshop will have at least one set of woodworking tools, one set of gardener’s tools and other essential instruments required for work-experience activities : such as carpentry, smithywork, tailoring, electronics, clay modeling and sheetmetal work.

Art and Music section This section will be fully equipped with materials like various types of papers, drawing boards, colours, brushes, etc. for visual art. Simple musical instruments like harmonium, tabla, mridanga, flutes, costumes and accessories for staging dance, drama etc.
